Software Engineering Manager – £55,000 – Cardiff (hybrid)
Your new role
We are looking for an experienced Software Engineering Manager to lead and inspire multidisciplinary teams within a DevOps environment. In this critical role, you will oversee all aspects of software development projects, ensuring they are delivered successfully, on time, and to a high standard. This position reports directly to the Head of IT Services.
The Software Engineering Manager will oversee and guide teams of .NET Developers, Visualfiles Developers, Testers, and Business Analysts, ensuring the adoption and maintenance of DevOps practices throughout projects. They will manage software development from inception to completion, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality solutions. Additionally, they will collaborate with stakeholders to align development efforts with business objectives and foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
What you’ll need to succeed
- Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role
- Proven experience managing teams within a DevOps environment
- Demonstrable success in project delivery
- Expert knowledge of .NET and Visualfiles development practices
