Spaghetti Bridge is a private equity-backed group of specialist schools helping to support young people with a range of needs facing significant barriers to learning.
With ten schools across the UK, Spaghetti Bridge supports circa 500+ students and 500+ staff. They have ambitious plans to grow further with more schools on the horizon.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Design, develop, and maintain internal software systems and applications
- Analyse business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Write clean, scalable code and support the full software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Troubleshoot, debug, and improve existing applications
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify technical solutions to business challenges
- Support database development, reporting, and data analysis
- Contribute to regular software releases within an agile environment
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to other team members
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience with JavaScript and modern development practices
- Experience working with SQL / PSQL and database design or data modelling
- Knowledge of application development using technologies such as C#, .NET, Delphi, VB, or low-code platforms
- Experience developing commercial or enterprise applications used by professionals
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to gather requirements and design solutions collaboratively
- Experience working within Agile development environments
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Nice to Have
- Experience with SQL Server or Supabase
- User interface design skills and an understanding of usability principles
- Experience building dashboards, reports, or data visualisations
- Previous experience mentoring or supporting junior developers
- Exposure to education, public sector, or mission-led organisation
Package
- Salary: £40,000 – £45,000
- Mileage allowance
- Remote working with regional travel
