Senior Information Technology Support Engineer

IT Manager | Wiltshire | Part-Time | On-Site

Peaple Talent have partnered with a growing business in the Wiltshire area looking to recruit an IT Manager.

This role would be suitable for an experienced IT Engineer looking to step-up to become an IT Manager.

You will be responsible for managing our client’s IT, and support on the day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain physical and cloud-based IT infrastructure.
• Ensure all IT systems are secure.
• Work towards achieving Cyber Essentials +.
• Carry out regular assessments to do with risk, security training and compliance audits.
• Lead on IT projects.
• Monitor and report on IT performance, uptime, and service levels.

Key Experience Required:

• Proven experience managing and maintaining both physical and cloud-based IT infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of IT security best practices, with a demonstrated ability to ensure secure systems and environments.
• Hands-on experience working towards or achieving Cyber Essentials Plus (or similar security certifications).
• Proficient in conducting regular risk assessments, delivering security training, and executing compliance audits.
• Experience leading end-to-end IT projects, including planning, implementation, and stakeholder communication.
• Ability to monitor, analyze, and report on IT system performance, uptime, and service level metrics.
