QA Engineer

Senior QA Engineer | Remote | Permanent | Up to £50,000

Peaple Talent has partnered with an EdTech organisation looking for a Senior QA Engineer.

Our client is looking for someone with both manual testing and practical testing automation experience.

The Role:

Based remotely, you will be reporting to the QA Lead and be tasked with the following:

• Writing and implementing new automated tests to fill coverage gaps or provide coverage for new features added to our client’s platform.
• Handling of incoming bugs reported by users and the rest of the team.
• Investigation and resolution of automated test failures.
• Logging and tracking bug reports in JIRA.
• Direct communication and liaison with various members of the team (both technical and non-technical) to investigate issues and give status updates.
• Manual testing of bug fixes and improvements using multiple different browsers and mobile platforms.

The Candidate:

The ideal candidate for this Senior QA Engineer role will have relevant experience of both manual and automation testing.

You’ll also need a background in:

• Some experience writing test automation (preferably TypeScript + Web Driver).
• Technical QA experience testing websites, apps or software projects.
• Familiarity with HTML/CSS, experience using multiple operating systems.
• Familiarity with bug tracking systems (JIRA).
• Solid manual testing skills.

The Package:

Basic Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum.
