Database Administrator | Remote – Permanent | Up to £40,000

Our client is looking for someone with experience with both on-premise Microsoft SQL Server and Azure SQL Database.

The Role:
You will be primarily responsible for covering all areas of database administration, from backups, server configuration and integrity checking, performance monitoring, schema design and code reviews
Responsibilities include:
– Implementing and maintaining backup strategy
-Creating alerting channels for critical issues
-Own and monitor the CI pipelines
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate for this role will have relevant experience of Backup and restores
You’ll also need a background in performance tuning and SQL Server internals
It is desirable that you have experience with Azure
