Application Analyst

Role: Application Analyst Location: Birmingham Salary: up to £50,000

We are supporting a scaling professional services organisation to support the hire of an Applications Analyst. This role plays a central part in maintaining, enhancing, and evolving business-critical applications. You’ll serve as the bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, delivering solutions that improve efficiency and foster innovation across the organisation.

The Role:

Manage the daily running of applications, making sure they are reliable and perform well.
Support and lead application-related projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and successfully.
Deliver user training and maintain clear, up-to-date process documentation.
Spot opportunities to improve systems and lead upgrades or integrations.
Provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and resolve problems quickly.

The Candidate:

Proven experience working with industry bespoke systems, including configuration, reporting, and workflow management. Able to gather and analyse business requirements, and deliver solutions that improve operations.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to understand complex processes and identify practical improvements.
Confident communicator who can influence stakeholders and build strong relationships with customers, business teams, and IT colleagues.

The Package:

Base Salary: up to £50,000
