Peaple Talent have exclusively partnered with Leading London based Technology consultancy who are recruiting a results-driven Business Development Specialist to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for lead generation, sales and playing a crucial part in expanding their client base. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Digital Transformation Technologies, Cloud, Data, AI, CX, and Automation along with excellent communication skills and a proven track record in driving successful sales initiatives. This role provides career development opportunities with training provided on tech/consulting methodologies in addition to modern sales & marketing methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and key decision-makers through various channels to generate leads.
- Collaborate with marketing, consulting, and delivery teams to develop target personas, sales strategies and campaigns that align with business objectives.
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of leads through various channels, including networking, cold calling, and social media.
- Plan and execute promotional events, such as exhibitions, conferences, and webinars, to showcase our products and services.
Sales Support
- Develop a deep understanding of our Digital Transformation services (Consulting and Technologies) to articulate our value proposition to potential clients.
- Assist in the preparation of sales presentations, proposals, and quotes.
- Conduct presentations and demonstrations to potential clients to effectively communicate the value proposition of our solutions.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and nurture strong relationships with both existing clients and prospects.
- Serve as a key point of contact for client inquiries, ensuring prompt and accurate responses.
- Proactively identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell digital solutions, aligning with client needs.
- Engage in pre-sales consulting, assisting in the development of tailored proposals and business analyses.

Sales Reporting, Analysis and Administrative Tasks:
- Maintain accurate records of leads, sales activities, and customer interactions using CRM or other tools.
- Provide regular reports and analysis of sales performance, identifying areas for improvement.
- Assist with administrative tasks related to sales operations, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient documentation within the organisation.
Qualifications:
- 3+ Years experience in business development and sales, with a focus on Digital Transformation technologies in an IT service or Consultancy company
- A good commercial knowledge of Cloud, Data, AI, CX, Automation products and services.
- Proficiency in CRM software, preferably HubSpot and Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Willingness to travel to attend events and meet with clients as required.
Compensation and Benefits:
Base Salary: Competitive
Commission: Performance-based, applied when exceeding sales targets
