Senior Business Development Manager:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Business Development Manager to join our clients market-leading business. The Role
Reporting directly to the Director of Sales, you will be responsible for accelerating sales growth in the utility connections market throughout the NW area. Your responsibilities will include;
- Prospecting potential customers and building strong relationships.
- Managing allocated existing key customers to maximise wallet share.
- Presenting compelling value add bid proposals to customers.
- Lead generation and achievement of sales growth within the NW territory.
- Monitoring performance through agreed KPIs
- Keeping the CRM and sales reporting systems up to date at all times
- Providing the highest level of customer service.
- Entertaining customers
The Person:
This is a key appointment for the customer, that will contribute significantly to the next phase of the Company’s growth. We are looking for someone with a strong sales background, ideally within the utilities or construction sector however this is not essential as full product training will be given. To aid your application, we are looking for candidates with the following skills & attributes:
- Experience working at Business Development Manager level.
- A passion for providing excellent customer service
- Ability to sell value over price.
- Excellent sales and closing skills.
- Confidence to build and maintain strong relationships.
- Strong communication and people skills.
- The ability to plan and deliver agreed objectives.
- Ability to operate in fast-paced environments.
- Proactive ‘can do’ approach.
- Good written communication & IT skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
