PT Renewables are partnered with a rapidly growing Renewable company looking for a Head of Estimating to lead and manage a high-performing estimating tea.
The Role
As a Head of Estimating, you’ll provide accurate and competitive customer focused cost estimates for HVAC, mechanical services, and water projects while growing the existing estimating team.
You’ll:
- Guide and develop the estimating team for top performance and continuous growth.
- Identify training needs and implement programs to enhance team skills and expertise.
- Oversee accurate, competitive cost estimates for HVAC, mechanical, and water projects tailored to client needs.
- Approve and review team estimates to ensure they meet customer expectations.
- Provide cost insights and assistance with project budgets and reports.
- Update estimates as project scopes evolve and support handovers to project management.
- Build lasting relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Attend client meetings to clarify requirements and provide technical advice.
About you
- Wealth of experience (ideally 8+ years) in mechanical estimating, with a focus on HVAC, mechanical services, and water projects.
- Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing estimating teams.
- Experience in the commercial, residential, and industrial sectors is preferred.
- Extensive technical knowledge within the HVAC, mechanical services, and water industries.
Benefits
- Base salary up to £70,000
- 20% bonus – up to £14,000
