Technical Delivery Manager (Core Infrastructure & Applications) | Bristol, Exeter, Plymouth (Hybrid) | £60,000 – £70,000 | 9-Month FTC
Peaple Talent is partnering with a leading professional services organisation undergoing an important period of change across its technology function. They’re looking for an experienced Technical Delivery Manager to lead and coordinate a specialist Core Infrastructure and Applications team during a key period for the business.
This is a great opportunity for someone who combines strong delivery management skills with a solid technical background, helping bring structure, visibility and momentum across a varied mix of infrastructure and applications projects.
You’ll act as the central point of coordination for the team, balancing competing priorities, managing capacity and delivery plans, identifying risks and removing blockers. You’ll also provide technical oversight across infrastructure and application changes while working closely with stakeholders across Technology and the wider business.
What You’ll Bring:
- Proven experience in delivery management, project coordination or operational leadership within a technology or IT environment
- Strong technical background across infrastructure, applications or technology operations
- Experience overseeing technical delivery and balancing project work with operational priorities
- Ability to review, challenge and validate technical solutions, changes and implementation plans
- Strong organisational and planning skills, including workload and resource management
- Experience using delivery tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira or similar
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical teams
- A proactive approach to identifying risks, resolving issues and keeping delivery moving
- Experience supporting and coaching colleagues through collaboration and day-to-day leadership
- Understanding of IT service management, change management or ITIL principles would be beneficial
