Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure Engineer
Location: Bath
Salary: up to £60,000
Peaple Talent have partnered with a Financial Services company that prides themselves on their commitment to excellence, innovation, and customer service. They are looking for a Cloud Engineer to join the team and play a pivotal role in designing and building cloud based infrastructure.
The Role
- Drive cloud adoption by planning, designing, and implementing cloud strategies
- Act as a subject matter expert in Azure and Microsoft 365, mentoring other team members
- Improve and automate cloud systems using tools like Infrastructure as Code.
- Provide third-line support for on-prem, data centre, and cloud infrastructure.
The Candidate:
- Azure Expertise – Proven experience and/or certification in managing tenants, subscriptions, Azure architecture, Landing Zones, Entra ID, storage, VMs, networking, security, performance, and cost optimisation.
- On-Prem Infrastructure – Experience with Windows Server setup, Active Directory, VMWare (or similar), VEEAM (or equivalent) backups, and infrastructure monitoring.
- Additional Tools – Familiarity with vulnerability management, SIEM, PowerShell scripting, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Ansible preferred).
The Package:
Base salary: up to £60,000
