TekCurious Chats | David Murray-Hundley
In this episode of our TekCurious Chats Series, we spoke to David Murray-Hundley, otherwise known as ‘The Grumpy Entrepreneur‘. David has been involved in technology since the age of 9 years old when he watched War Games on a pirate video and asked his father to purchase him a Sinclair ZX81 so that he could hack the Pentagon. Aged 11-12 he frequently bugged a well-known software company to consider his demos. Finally after much politeness by the software company he had one of his games recognised and released in 1987.
After being part of the founding team at Commerce One in 1999, in 2002 David went bankrupt and had to start again. David says this was probably one of the best things to happen to him. He has since been able to start and then sell a number of companies while also helping other people and companies be successful.
In this podcast, David Murray-Hundley tells us about his life and the journey he has been on to get to where he is now, where he has so far helped 2390 companies since March 2020. In this episode, he shares his wisdom, how to look after your mental health during these times, as well as his insights from the conversations he has had with businesses.
