As SQL DBA your main responsibility will be to provide data migration, database administration and database support work for projects and business as usual tasks within the business change and transformation arm. This business offers complete flexibility with working from home and working flexibility around working hours.

Skills:

• Experience in Database Administration in SQL Server up to 2016

• SSRS & Power BI
• MySQL
• Data Analysis
• Azure experience (desirable)

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the project and applications support teams in any other activities deemed appropriate for supporting the department and its clients.

• Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database integrity issues, performance issues, blocking and deadlocking issues

• Maintain database security, backups, recovery and availability.
• Deliver on-going support for systems issues relating to database matters that may be raised through the Helpdesk.
• Develop database strategies.
• Uphold the effective performance of databases in all live and test environments.
