Software Tester Contract

Software Tester | Bristol & Remote | Contract | £400 Per Day

We are working with a well established Bristol business who are evolving their current IT model!

There are projects which need to be delivered and our client requires a “Hands On” Software Tester to assist them on this journey. The role will involve setting up manual & automation frameworks from scratch. So this type of experience is required.

3 Month Contract but likely to extend.

Experience Required:

• Extensive experience as both a Technical Software Tester and a UAT co-ordinator.
• A self-starter who can quickly assess what needs to be done without waiting to be told.
• Experience of testing complex Java applications and APIs.
• Experience of Azure Insights, SOAP UI and understanding Java stack traces and JSON.
• Experience of testing transactional systems with multiple interfaces to 3^rd party systems.
• Confident in scripting for manual testing from scratch.
• Confident in building and scripting for test automation functions from scratch.
• Meticulous attention to detail and able to work on their own initiative with a limited specification.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate closely with IT Programme members and Business Users when working remotely.
• Fully versed in Agile methodologies and tools i.e. Jira, Confluence.
