Operations Analyst | Newport | £28,000

Peaple Talent has partnered with an established business who are going through an exciting period of business change. As an Operations Analyst, you would be expected to own event alerts, tune monitoring tools to show only relevant information, raise incidents & problems against events and escalate when necessary.

Main Duties

• Identify automation opportunities for tasks and services and assist in the automation of these tasks
• Provide technical support for users of Hornbill Service Manager; Create, configure, maintain and improve its processes
• Work with vendors, IT staff and end users to troubleshoot problems with our service desk systems and processes
• Attend technical meetings when necessary
• Assist in the support and monitoring of systems, including external digital services and internal IT systems

Technical skills

• Proficient in PowerShell and other scripting language
• Experience of at least one of the following monitoring solutions: Dynatrace / Monitis / Nagios / SolarWinds / Pingdom
• Experience of creating and manipulating Business Process Manager (BPM) Workflows
