IT Business Systems Manager 

IT Business Systems Manager | Chippenham | Up to £55,000 

As the IT business systems manager, you will be responsible for ensuring full use of all IT systems both on-prem and SAAS. 

You will be providing leadership directly into the IT department and directly working with the wider business by ensuring all systems are aligned to the business strategy. 

The business is a state-of-the-art organic farm food producer offering the largest organic operation globally. 

The Role: 

• Manage the Business Systems team and associated contractors 
• Work with the Head of IT, Business Managers and other departments to understand business operations 
• Support all business units with the alignment of their systems 
• Develop and maintain a good understanding of systems, applications, and the processes they support 
• Lead in identifying, analysing and appraising stakeholder requirements and business benefits 

• Manage 3rd parties to develop specifications 
• Collaborate with business users to manage implementations, training and support 
• Keep on-top of enhancements to existing technology, marketplace and JD Edwards 

The Candidate: 

• Knowledge of Cloud technologies (AWS preferable) Experienced with ERP Systems – JD Edwards 
• Strong understanding of relational database concepts and design 
• Excellent commercial awareness 
• Minimum of 3 years of experience supporting and operating JD Edwards, or 5 years’ experience supporting and operating another ERP. 
• Knowledge of Prince2/APM and/or Agile project management methodologies 

• Experience in drafting functional specifications 
• Experienced Project Manager 

The Package: 

• Base salary of up to £55,000 + plus benefits, pension etc.
