Infrastructure Analyst Permanent

Infrastructure Analyst | Bristol | up to £35,000

This is working for a leading PE-backed organisation that are rapidly growing and have been doing so all through CV19! They are very well respected in their industry and are seen as true market leaders across the whole of Europe.

You will be working as part of the infrastructure team to deliver exceptional infrastructure IT support. Helping all staff resolve issues with their networks & servers, whilst also ensuring their desktop environment is fit for purpose and operating in line with infrastructure, licencing and security requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

• Dealing with internal customers to ensure they receive the highest possible service
• Managing the day to day support queries as they are routed into infrastructure from the Service Desk Team
• Owning infrastructure ‘Start of Day’ reporting, ensuring systems are operational and available for use
• Documenting fault fixes and other knowledge base activities to ensure others are aware of deviation from standards or complex fault fixes
• Generation of “user guides” where appropriate

Required Experience

• Infrastructure related technical “hands-on” experience (proven by vocational qualifications or several years’ infrastructure experience)
• Detailed knowledge of networking environments / equipment (routing / switching / IP connectivity / site-to-site VPN’s etc.)
• 3rd line understanding of Windows Desktop and Server environments and able to resolve and aid in the resolution of infrastructure support issues
• Keen interest in infrastructure technologies and it’s impact/benefit to our client
• Strong organisation skills with the ability to work at pace whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
