EUE Infrastructure Engineer | Bristol | Up to £45,000
This is working for a leading PE-backed organisation that is rapidly growing and have been doing so all through CV19! They are very well respected in their industry and are seen as true market leaders across the whole of Europe.
The role primarily involves the implementation, management, and maintenance of our user-facing IT Infrastructure. This comprises but is not limited to:
- Migrations of Office 365
- EUE Architecture design and implementation.
- 3rd line support of EUE infrastructure systems.
- Documentation and Service Transition of EUE infrastructure systems.
- Product and solution lifecycle management of EUE infrastructure systems.
Responsibilities:
- Office 365 migration
- Providing SME skills and experience for key EUE infrastructure technologies.
- EUE Architecture design and implementation.
- Documentation and Service Transition of EUE infrastructure systems.
- Product and solution lifecycle management of EUE infrastructure systems.
- Publishing, improving, and maintaining internal IT EUE documentation and processes.
- EUE Project implementation.
- Assessment and migration of newly acquired or outstanding businesses into our central systems and tenants
- Assisting and training other members of the IT Infrastructure and IT Service teams to ensure no single points of dependency exist in the knowledge base.
- 3rd line support and pro-active maintenance of all EUE infrastructure systems.
- Technical assessment of services for acquired businesses.
- Transition all EUE services to standards ensuring minimal downtime.
- Educating the wider team and business on the benefits of Office 365 and best practice.
- EUE architecture design and implementation.
- Collaboratively architect/design and perform peer reviews on all projects and implementations.
Key Skills:
- Experience of third line fault repair and vendor escalations
- Proficient problem solver who can manage ambiguity and deliver appropriate solutions.
- Confident communicator, via email, telephone and face to face.
- Ability to communicate complex I.T. information to a non-technical audience with clarity.
- Strong planning & time management skills.
- Good understanding of delivering success in an IT function.
- Able to engage the business at all levels to solve problems and implement improvements.
