Peaple Talent has partnered with an exciting FinTech in central Cardiff. After a stellar first years performance, raising significant investment and gaining the necessary FCA authorisation they are ready to grow! As part of this growth,they are looking for an EPOS Integration Engineer.

Our client’s products connect to EPOS systems across retail industries. As the EPOS integration engineer, you will be responsible for building API connections between their applications and the EPOS systems used by their customers.

You’ll be experienced in developing and using API connections between third parties, some of which should be relatable to the retail and hospitality industry EPOS systems.

You’ll need to be confident in making design decisions where no-one has been before, figuring out problems and choosing the right approach as the company evolves and their markets grow. With a strong development background, you’ll have the experience and ambition to help define and build sustainable, scalable and secure solutions.

With a BSc or MSc in Computer Science or equivalent (or related industry experience) you will be highly skilled and have demonstrable experience (3 years) in:

• EPOS integration within the retail or hospitality industry
• API design and development
• CRUD services
• RESTful Services
• Web fundamentals like HTML, JavaScript
• CSS, Python, Java, JavaScript, and .Net server-side languages.

You’ll also have experience in Database technologies (preferably PostgreSQL) and web server technologies such as Serverless Framework.
