1st & 2nd Line IT Support Engineer Full Time

1^st/2^nd Line IT Support Engineer | Bristol | Permanent | Up to £28k

Our client are looking for a 1st/2nd Line IT Support Engineer to join their IT department. This role will involve working with colleagues in the Service Delivery team to manage incidents and service requests logged through their core IT Service Management Solution.

The role is a mixture of 1^st Line and 2^nd Line support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide appropriate technical support for hardware, software and networks across the business.
• Focusing on solving customer’s problems, striving to continuously better understand the internal customer’s needs.
• Work with internal colleagues and third parties in order to deliver technical services, ensuring established service levels are adhered to at all times.
• Delivery of exceptional service to all users of IT, within a structured IT environment aligned to industry standard frameworks (COBIT, ITIL, ISO27001, ISO9001).

Experience Required:

• Experience in supporting a VMWare-based Virtual Desktop Infrastructure.
• Working knowledge of mobile device management technologies, Microsoft Azure & AWS (desirable not essential).
• Proven experience in supporting and maintaining end-user computing solutions including physical desktops, mobile devices (laptops, tablets, smartphones), printers, and end-device security and remote access technologies.
• Experience with supporting a Windows 10 desktop estate.
